She licked her lips as she stared into the distance. The wind blew the rain against the window with such force that it startled her from time to time. The boy opposite of her killed his smoke in the flowerpot next to the couch. 'Do you know that feeling...' she said while she let her hand slide down the arm of her chair,'..that feeling that you are about to explode when you spend too much time among people?' She briefly glanced at the inside of her head before she turned her gaze in his direction. He was pulling the leafs of a plant that was trying to die.
'All the time,' he said and he stuck his gum against the side of his glass.
